Job Summary
Senior Technician role focused on groundworks within the transmission network, performing fault rectification and preventative maintenance of RF systems, supporting upgrades and modifications, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities include 24/7 callout participation, contractor supervision, and willingness to climb tall structures (up to 60 metres). Requires knowledge of RF systems, DTT and digital/analogue radio transmissions, telemetry, power and environmental controls, and safety practices; training leading to City & Guilds certifications is provided. The role involves travel around North Scotland (Mounteagle, Dingwall, Durris, Aberdeen and surrounding areas) with a company vehicle and benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- HNC or equivalent level 4 qualification OR relevant experience
