Job Summary
Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician at Walmart responsible for maintaining and repairing Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets by leveraging multiple crafts (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment) and using hand and power tools; process work orders to support Stores and Store associates, respond to emergency maintenance calls, inspect and test facilities and equipment to diagnose issues, and complete required training for safe operation of equipment; benefits include a sign-on bonus at select locations, comprehensive health plans, 401k match, education benefits through Live Better U, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report
- Vocational or Technical certification and 5 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade, or 7 years' experience in one of these trades
- 1 year's experience using intermediate-level functionality of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
