Job Summary
Perform comprehensive preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on Epiroc rigs, loaders, and trucks. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues while conducting root cause analyses to recommend corrective actions. Lead commissioning and functional testing of new equipment, providing hands-on training to customers, and support installation, upgrade, and modification projects. Ensure all activities comply with safety protocols and legal regulations, maintaining accurate documentation of service activities and parts usage. Conduct thorough equipment inspections using the Epiroc Rig Scan Auditing tool to facilitate proactive maintenance planning.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of five years of experience in a similar technical position
- preferably within heavy equipment maintenance or related industries
- diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Strong technical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics, drawings, and manuals
- A safety-first mindset with robust risk assessment abilities
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a customer-oriented approach
- Capability to work independently in challenging field environments
