Job Summary
Senior Technician for Bloom Energy's Mumbai HB Engineering team. Responsible for hands-on testing, mechanical fitting, tubing and fittings setup, and maintenance of HB test stations in support of fuel cell Hotbox development. Executes routine testing, assists with data processing and report writing, coordinates with vendors for parts and fixtures, and manages inventory. Requires hands-on troubleshooting, ability to work in interdisciplinary teams, and willingness to perform heavy lifting with proper PPE. Education includes ITI in Mechanical/Production/Metallurgy (essential) and Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Metallurgy Science (plus). Experience range: 2-6 years. Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; CAD understanding preferred; self-motivated with good task organization.
Required Qualifications
- ITI in Mechanical/Production/Metallurgy is essential
- Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Metallurgy Science will be a plus
- 2-6 years of related experience
- Hands-on testing and maintenance experience with HB test stations
- Knowledge of tubing and fittings standards
- Ability to perform heavy lifting with safety
- Strong communication and team skills
Desired Qualifications
- ITI in Mechanical/Production/Metallurgy is essential
- Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Metallurgy Science will be a plus
- Experience: Between 2 - 6 years of related experience
- Good hands-on troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of tubing and fittings and their standards
- Willingness to do heavy lifting with safety procedures and PPE
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Office, Excel)
- Understanding CAD modeling software preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Team player, self-motivated
- Ability to organize tasks with little oversight
