Senior Technician / Engineer HVAC with Austrian Trading License (m/f/d)

Job Summary
Lead planning and construction of utility systems for industrial facilities, including heating, cooling, steam, plumbing, and fire protection, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Prepare engineering documentation from feasibility studies through detailed design packages and manage external partners to oversee project planning, budgeting, and supplier negotiations. Supervise the construction phase to verify implementation against approved designs. This role requires a valid Austrian trade license for Heating and Ventilation Engineering, registration in the Vienna Trade Register, and a minimum of five years as a Project Manager in complex industrial utility projects. Previous experience in Austria is mandatory, along with excellent German and English communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Completed technical education as a certified technician, master craftsman, or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Heating Engineering, Ventilation Engineering, or a related discipline
- Valid Austrian trade license (Gewerbeberechtigung) for Heating Engineering in conjunction with Ventilation Engineering
- Willingness to be registered in the Vienna Trade Register on behalf of Exyte as the licensed professional responsible for the business
- Qualification examination for Engineering Offices (Ingenieurbüros)
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Project Manager in the planning and construction of complex utility systems within industrial projects
- Previous project experience in Austria
- Excellent German and English communication skills
- Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel and work within multidisciplinary project teams
Desired Qualifications
- Qualification examination for Engineering Offices (Ingenieurbüros) is considered an advantage but is not mandatory
