Job Summary
Senior Technician heavy equipment crane repair and maintenance, specializing in modernization and repairs of cranes in the field at customer locations. Responsible for troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and inspections, mentoring field technicians, and serving as the liaison between management and customers. Must be on-call with after-hours availability, travel 20-50%, and work in a safety-first environment with potential lifting of up to 100 lbs and frequent climbing; reports to Service/Branch Manager and participates in required trainings.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5-7 years of crane repair & maintenance experience
- At least 3-4 of years electrical and/or mechanical experience in lieu of crane repair & maintenance experience
- Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
- Must always commit to working and driving safely
- Must be willing to work off the ground at various heights
- Must have basic computer skills to work with web-based crane inspection programs
- Must be able to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team
- Knowledge of hand tools and/or possess hand tools
