Senior Technical Writer

Senior Technical Writer responsible for creating clear, structured, and highly technical documentation for internal engineering systems. Partner with senior developers and infrastructure teams; document cloud/DevOps environments (Azure GovCloud IL4, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines); cover PostgreSQL provisioning, operations, and disaster recovery; document configuration management and observability best practices. Produce concise how-to guides, installation and troubleshooting procedures (PowerShell/Bash), and standardized content for developer audiences using defined templates. Proficient with Confluence, GitHub, Jira, and diagramming tools; manage limited SME availability through effective interviewing and scheduling; communicate with Directors and Lead Engineers to deliver accurate, user-friendly documentation. Must demonstrate software engineering foundation, cloud literacy, and strong information architecture. Familiarity with MSF Docs Single Page Design templates; able to follow project templates, onboarding content, infrastructure and troubleshooting structures.
