Job Summary
Senior Technical Support Engineer role leading complex technical escalations within Motorola Solutions' Avigilon Alta team. Responsibilities include analyzing software/hardware/deployment logs to isolate root causes, overseeing advanced troubleshooting across cloud-based video and access systems, mentoring junior engineers through swarming and knowledge sessions, authoring and expanding Knowledge Centered Support articles, coordinating cross-functional collaboration with Product/Development/Engineering to move bugs to official resolutions, and delivering white-glove support during infrastructure updates and investigations. Requires expertise in IP networking (routers, firewalls, TCP/IP, UDP, multicast), cloud security for VMS platforms and cameras, Linux system analysis, and strong stakeholder communication. Travel under 10%, salary range $60k-$67k, and legal work authorization in the U.S. is required. Position type is experienced, with a focus on senior-level technical leadership and customer success.”,
