Senior Technical Support Account Manager

Job Summary
Act as a strategic technical advisor to customers on SAS support activities, proactively communicating with clients and internal experts during problem resolution. Accurately document information in tracking systems, manage internal and external expectations, and coordinate SAS resources to deliver support services under pressure. Build deep knowledge of SAS products and business domains to help customers solve specific problems, mitigate risks, and recommend strategies. Facilitate timely resolution of all customer issues and requests, working remotely or on customer sites as necessary. Keep abreast of vendor products to advise users on competitive offerings and effective SAS integration. This role involves serving as an escalation point and liaison between SAS divisions for strategic enterprise customers.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of technical sales, systems engineering, project management, applications development and/or customer support
- 5 Years of hands-on experience SAS
- Japanese and English language proficiency is a must to have
- Expert knowledge of SAS products and their applications or specialized products related to the assigned customer
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to communicate clearly, and strong problem resolution skills
- Has a proven understanding of corporate account business needs and knowledge of the support industry
- Has ability to deliver presentations to various audiences including colleagues, customers, and industry experts
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in at least one vertical market preferred
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Computer Science, or related field
- An equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications
