Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards using DAX, Power Query, and dimensional modeling. Create complex calculations, KPIs, and business metrics while implementing row-level security and data governance best practices. Develop, modify, and support operational and analytical reports using SSRS, including building paginated reports and troubleshooting performance issues. Optimize report performance, manage Power BI datasets and workspaces, and publish scheduled reports. Support migration of legacy SSRS reports to Power BI where applicable. Requires 6+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics with expertise in Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and CI/CD practices.
Required Qualifications
- 4–8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Reporting Solutions
- Strong experience in Microsoft Power BI development
- Expertise in DAX, Power Query (M Language), and data modeling
- Hands-on experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
- Advanced SQL development skills on SQL Server
- Experience with Power BI Service, Gateways, Workspaces, and Deployment Pipelines
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
- Knowledge of report performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Experience working with large datasets and complex reporting environments
- Any Degree ( Computer Science )
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, or Databricks
- Knowledge of SSIS and SSAS
- Experience with Paginated Reports in Power BI
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Exposure to REST APIs and data integration techniques
- SSRS to Power BI migration projects
- Financial, Sales, Operations, or Supply Chain reporting
- Agile/Scrum delivery environments
- Enterprise BI governance and security frameworks
