Job Summary
Senior Technical Solution Consultant in Tokyo to support Sales by acting as a solution architect and product expert within Clarivate's Academia & Government team; drive revenue through high-impact product demonstrations, compelling proposals, and deal strategy; translate complex business requirements into differentiated, value-based solutions and advise customers to accelerate decision-making; collaborate with sales to align solution scope with customer objectives, contribute to pipeline and account planning, and share best practices across teams; requires 7+ years experience, knowledge of networking, SaaS, and cloud, library technology expertise, strong communication and presentation skills, and ability to work under pressure in a hybrid, Tokyo-based role.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of networking, SaaS and cloud computing
- Understanding of library technology and ability to learn/apply new technologies
- Strong customer service mindset
- Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
- Ability to perform detail-oriented work under pressure
- Strong software troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a technical environment
