Job Summary
Senior Technical Services role supporting the DKSH laboratory operations in Performance Materials, focusing on testing, sample management, and technical service delivery across paints, inks, construction materials, plastics, rubbers, and adhesives. Responsibilities include receiving, classifying, labeling, and organizing raw material and additive samples; preparing, packaging, and dispatching samples; operating viscosity meters, mixing machines, coating devices, and mechanical testing instruments; conducting sample blending and evaluation per customer specifications; observing and recording physical and chemical behavior across water-based, solvent-based, and PVC resin systems; preparing detailed test reports; maintaining 5S standards and routine instrument maintenance; plus administrative coordination. Requires Diploma or Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, or related engineering field; up to 2 years of laboratory experience; knowledge of MSDS/PPE; proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; meticulous, detail-oriented, data-accurate; proactive learner with strong laboratory safety; good English.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline
- Foundational knowledge of chemicals, additives, and laboratory safety protocols including MSDS and PPE
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
