Job Summary
Lead technical SEO for a team of seven writers by conducting comprehensive audits of site architecture, crawling, indexation, and Core Web Vitals. Research, test, and implement strategies to improve visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered platforms like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews. Build AI-assisted workflows for content production and reporting on rankings, CTR, and key metrics to drive organic traffic growth. Manage technical SEO operations remotely from Europe-based locations including Spain, Italy, and France.
Required Qualifications
- Outstanding knowledge of technical SEO, on-page SEO, and website architecture
- Excellent analytical skills, with hands-on experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and similar platforms
- Hands-on experience optimizing content for AI search (GEO/AEO), including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, and other AI assistants
- Strong understanding of structured data (Schema.org http://Schema.org), crawling, indexation, and modern web technologies
- Experience working closely with both engineering and editorial/content teams
- Comfortable using AI tools and automation to improve SEO workflows and scale content operations
- Fluent in multiple languages

- A background in software development
- You've helped scale organic traffic for a startup through content and technical SEO
- Experience optimizing for platforms beyond Google, including YouTube, Reddit, Perplexity, and other emerging discovery channels
- Experience with Python, SQL, workflow automation tools (n8n, Make, etc.), and vibe-coding
- A good dose of ambition, and an even better sense of humor
