Job Summary
Senior Technical Sales Representative focused on managing and growing relationships with OEM customers, EPC firms, and industrial end users. Conduct technical sales conversations centered on fan performance, system requirements, and application needs, collaborating with engineering teams for deeper analysis. Balance ~60% account management with ~40% new business development, navigating long sales cycles with specifications approvals and coordination among multiple stakeholders. Includes onsite client visits, trade shows, and an onboarding trip to Italy with European leadership. Knowledge of cooling towers, heat exchangers, dry cooling solutions, rotating equipment (compressors, pumps, filtration systems), and related engineered industrial equipment is beneficial. Target markets include power generation, petrochemical, refining, and heavy industrial sectors; prior experience selling into EPC firms is valued. Requires travel ~30%. Base salary up to $150,000 with performance-based bonus and full benefits." ,
Required Qualifications
- At least five years of technical industrial sales experience with engineered products
- Ability to understand mechanical concepts and translate them into customer conversations
- Strong relationship building skills and comfort with long multi step sales cycles
- Ability to travel approximately thirty percent
- Clear communication confidence on the phone and professionalism with high level customers
