Senior Technical Sales Manager APJ-Life Sciences Mass Spectrometry

Job Summary
Identify and prioritize new client opportunities to grow business within the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division. Coordinate actions to enhance market penetration and uncover new potential opportunities to increase allegiance and sales revenue. Proactively develop sales strategies, act as a trusted advisor for key contacts, and support Account Managers with strategy execution. Drive growth by sharing the customer voice, attending technical visits, and supporting new Product Introduction prospects to improve adoption rates. Manage the sales funnel and forecast in collaboration with country leads, consult on obtaining customer forecasts, and maintain awareness of competitor activity. Lead teamwork with sales and field application specialists, promote specific Mass Spectrometry products to Key Opinion Leaders, and provide training and coaching to country sales teams.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a multi-country or regional capacity
- Consistent track record of sales experience in analytical/relevant instrument market and handling high-value accounts
- Masters' degree in science or equivalent work experience
- Experience in conducting seminars and presentations
- Commercial mindset, strongly motivated by desire to win new business, with proven relentless pursuit of opportunities
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated commercial excellence working in matrix environment
- Ability to explain and sell the technical aspects of Thermo Fisher Scientific's scientific product portfolio
- Ability to travel to customer locations including international travel
