Senior Technical Sales Engineer
$140,000–$160,000 year
HybridLynnwood, Washington, United States
Job Summary
Partner with sales teams to advance enterprise sales cycles from technical qualification through close, owning every technical dimension including IT security reviews, PACS integration architecture, and executive briefings. Maintain a master matrix of PACS and VNA integrations while managing relationships with vendor partners to ensure current technical information availability. Lead clinical informatics reviews covering DICOM/HL7 compliance, cloud deployment, and cybersecurity requirements, then build custom assets like integration diagrams, security questionnaires, and RFP responses for each deal. Proactively follow up after meetings to track open items and drive prospects to technical sign-off, while representing Lunit at customer briefings and industry conferences such as RSNA and SIIM. Channel field intelligence on objections and competitive gaps back to product and marketing teams. Support customer onboarding by installing, monitoring, and updating on-premises systems, including training onsite IT staff as required. Collaborate with Product Managers to document technical requests and develop use cases. Work with Marketing to create reusable technical content and assist in preparing for large strategic opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical, clinical, or engineering field
- 5–8 years in a sales engineering, solutions consulting, technical pre-sales, or technical customer service role in medical imaging, radiology IT, clinical AI, or the broader medical device industry
- Hands-on fluency with hospital IT environments: PACS, VNA, HL7 FHIR, DICOM, and cloud/on-prem infrastructure
- Experience managing technical relationships with PACS/VNA or other imaging-ecosystem vendor partners, ideally including ownership of an integration compatibility matrix or similar reference tool
- Polished executive presence — equally comfortable with a CIO and a lead radiologist
- Proactive communication style — you send the follow-up before anyone asks, and you own the action items
- Willingness to travel approximately 20% for customer visits and conferences and to periodically work scheduled evenings or weekends to support trade show activities and customer sales calls
- Working knowledge of hospital IT infrastructure — networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls), Windows/Linux server environments, virtualization, and remote access tools (RDP, Citrix, VPN)
- Candidates must currently have the right to work in the United States to apply
- Proof of COVID 19 vaccination required, except in limited circumstances where a legally recognized medical or religious exemption may be able to be accommodated
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with breast imaging workflows and/or radiology AI a strong plus
