Job Summary

Monitor product regulatory requirements, specifically Marine Classifications Society standards, and apply them to Caterpillar products. Collect, assess, and manage information using established processes to support product certification and compliance. Identify continuous improvement opportunities for tools and processes managing regulatory compliance risks. Collaborate with product groups, design control, and operations to ensure development, validation, and production meet applicable requirements. Gather and analyze data from stakeholders to reach objective conclusions on product development best practices and risk exposure. This role supports the global Oil and Gas and Marine Division in powering the energy industry and water propulsion.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Relocation assistance is available for this position
  • This position is 5 days onsite in Lafayette, Indiana
  • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a drug screen

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum
  • Degree Requirement Bachelor's Degree Preferred
