Job Summary
Senior Technical Project/Program Management Specialist responsible for coordinating the build, integration, and delivery of prototype autonomous military vehicles in Sterling Heights, MI. Lead day-to-day activities across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, and test teams; develop and maintain build schedules, production plans, and milestone tracking; manage ECRs, design updates, and configuration changes; monitor material availability and production readiness; lead daily production meetings and communicate risks and corrective actions to program leadership; ensure compliance with safety requirements and contractual deliverables; travel 25-50%; requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a 2-year technical certificate or journeyman certification related to vehicle repair/diagnostics, CDL-B, and ability to obtain Government Secret Clearance; extensive experience with autonomous systems or unmanned ground vehicles and Army prototype programs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certificate from a 2-year technical school or completion of an apprenticeship program leading to Journeyman status with certification in vehicle repair/diagnostics
- Willingness to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance
- Commercial Driver License (CDL-B) or willingness to obtain
- Experience with autonomous systems, robotic/unmanned ground vehicles or advanced combat vehicle platforms
- Experience supporting U.S. Army prototype, engineering, or modernization programs
- Ability to travel 25-50%
