Senior Technical Project Architect

Job Summary
Manage all phases of architectural projects, applying advanced technical expertise across varying sizes and scopes. Lead and supervise project teams by delegating work, reviewing internal staff and external consultant deliverables, and conducting final approvals on code analyses, material selections, and specifications. Oversee production of construction documents and BIM/Revit models while attending client meetings to serve as a primary technical resource. Collaborate with Project Managers to align execution with work plans, schedules, and budgets, recommending adjustments to staffing and resources when corrective action is needed. Champion design excellence, mentor junior staff, and lead construction administration efforts including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and conducting site observations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Architecture
- Architectural registration
- 15+ years of experience in an architectural practice
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working on healthcare, science & technology, and/or higher education projects
- Demonstrated success leading design, documentation, and construction administration efforts for complex architectural projects
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM management
- Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, codes, and specifications
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop project teams
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building abilities
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to exercise sound independent judgment and technical expertise in complex situations
