Job Summary
Lead day-to-day execution of program initiatives for a funded Space Domain Awareness mission, managing budget, schedule, and contractual requirements while developing the technical path for a resilient, software-defined mesh networking layer. Work side-by-side with mission partners to understand specific challenges, representing the customer to engineering teams to shape products that solve critical security objectives. Collaborate across engineering, product, logistics, and legal functions to build and pivot solutions, ensuring all parties remain engaged and informed throughout the development cycle. Create sprint plans, execution plans, and milestones to drive fielding on operationally relevant timelines, while establishing trust-based partnerships to meet commercial targets and identify future opportunities for Anduril's technology.
Required Qualifications
- Experience designing, developing, or leading complex software development programs in support of advanced C2 capabilities in any domain
- Demonstrated experience managing software products through direct end user engagement over a prolonged, iterative development cycle
- B.S. (minimum) in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- 8+ years relevant industry experience
- Experience with the deployment and integration of sophisticated hardware and software systems
- Experience with building and leading cross-functional teams
- Adaptive and introspective; willing to learn, teach, lead and follow
- Comfortable with setting and achieving goals in an amorphous environment
- Comfortable with working in limited resource environments
- Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Prior systems engineering or software integration experience is a plus
- Understanding of existing systems architectures that support ground and orbital systems contributing to Space Domain Awareness and Space Control
- Operational experience and understanding of the Joint Targeting Cycle with regard to Space Warfighting capabilities and concepts of operations
- Broad understanding of current and emerging capabilities deployed within the Space domain
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams to successful completion of projects
- Able to perform in fast paced environment
- Collaborative problem solving to achieve work goals
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent project management software
- Ability to organize, prioritize and simplify complex problems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
- Lead team to develop solutions to complex, time sensitive problems
- Maintain customer relationship with timely, accurate, and meaningful communications
- Creation of project proposals, program plans, reports, and process documentation
