Job Summary
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large cross-functional Payments initiatives; define measurable success criteria, mitigate risks, and keep stakeholders aligned. Shape technical direction, provide regular updates to senior leadership, and manage end-to-end programs spanning multiple surfaces and teams within Airbnb's Payments domain. Collaborate with Payments engineering, operations, and product teams to deliver strategic priorities, maintain high-quality standards, and drive productive execution across the organization. The role requires a robust technical background, ownership mindset, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while delivering concrete results.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in the software development industry, with at least 5 years as a TPM or relevant experience
- B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability to work calmly through ambiguity to detailed solutions; capability to decompose problems, frame challenges, and drive initiatives to completion
- Self-motivated, proactive and adaptable; able to collaborate with teams with different cadences
- Proven track record of influencing others with strong analytical skills and openness to feedback
- Experience developing processes where little exists and flexibility to get things done
- Detail-oriented with ability to understand the bigger picture and prioritize blocking issues
- Experience working in a highly cross-functional environment with strong communication with multiple groups
- Excellent written and oral business communication and people skills, with ability to influence stakeholders
- Exhibit knowledge of Asana, Jira, or other equivalent task management tooling
