Senior Technical Program Manager

Lead delivery of next-generation Infrared Satellites as the single accountable owner for program cost, schedule, and technical performance. Drive cross-functional collaboration across payload engineering, subcontractors, and vendor partners from preliminary design through on-orbit demonstration, including managing the integrated master schedule, cost baseline, risk register, and customer deliverables. Serve as the primary day-to-day customer interface, coordinate with Contracts and Finance on subcontract changes, and ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR export controls. This hybrid role requires on-site presence in San Jose, CA three days per week and involves leading design reviews, sub-scale demonstrations, environmental testing, and transition strategies with business development teams. Requirements include extensive space/aerospace program management experience, ability to navigate government contracting lifecycle, and Top Secret clearance; strong written communication and cross-functional leadership skills are essential.
