Job Summary
Lead cross-functional engineering programs for AI software initiatives and Gen AI model development, coordinating with engineering partners and vendors to plan programs, manage dependencies, and drive data-driven decisions. Establish and report on program metrics, forecast progress, and communicate status to senior management. Guide teams through complex, competing customer requirements, facilitate effective technical-to-non-technical discussions, and pursue continuous process improvements. Requires a senior-level track record (10+ years) in program management, exceptional communication, agile practices, and hands-on familiarity with software engineering principles and AI-training environments. Proficiency with Jira, Aha!, Confluence, and Git is expected; experience with GPU technology and distributed software development is a plus. The role offers base salary in the 168k–322k range depending on level, plus equity and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field
- 10+ years program management experience
- Ability to manage global projects across multiple time zones
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and project planning/tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!, Confluence, Git)
- Experience in AI training environments and resource capacity planning
- Understanding of software engineering principles and quality requirements in enterprise systems
