Job Summary
Lead automotive software development across multiple engineering teams for ADAS and autonomy features. Define product roadmaps, develop schedules, and drive execution and tracking of these initiatives organization-wide. Coordinate release content with program managers and engineering managers owning individual components. Establish metrics to assess and improve product quality and execution. Develop technical understanding of the stack to proactively identify and resolve challenges affecting scope, schedule, and quality. Regularly communicate program status and key issues to management and multi-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience in a similar or related role
- Experience working in driving the planning and execution of complex software engineering projects, and new products or features to users
- Proven experience in Automotive, Robotics and/or AI
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate on global projects across large organizations
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience leading end-to-end development of ADAS, autonomous vehicles and/or machine learning
- Experience with Jira and/or JAMA, to the point that you can comfortably guide an engineering team how to use these tools
- Experience with start-ups and/or early-stage products
