Job Summary
Senior Technical Program Manager, Applied AI responsible for leading end-to-end, high-impact programs that deliver high-quality, high-volume data and bespoke engineering deliverables for frontier AI workflows. Will architect data pipelines for multimodal data (text, image, video, audio), implement rigorous automated and human-in-the-loop QC, lead cross-functional workstreams (forward-deployed engineers, researchers, production teams), and drive strategic execution for RL/RLHF/RLAIF-enabled AI initiatives. Requires strong leadership, program management across labs and partner organizations, and deep technical fluency in data-centric AI systems (RAG, vector databases, PyTorch/LangChain) with a track record of delivering scalable, high-quality data and model evaluation improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Education: B.S or M.S in Computer Science, AI, or related technical field with 10+ years of industry experience. Equivalently, a Ph.D. with 5+ years of experience in a high-growth AI/Engineering environment.
- Frontier AI Expertise: Proven track record of managing data pipelines for LLMs or multimodal models; understanding training, inference, and data diversity across multilingual and multi-domain contexts.
- Technical Depth: Hands-on experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and agentic workflows. Familiarity with RLHF/RLAIF environments and preference signaling.
- Scale & Quality: Experience with high-throughput programs where automated validation at scale and data quality control are essential.
- Strategic Execution: Strong business acumen and ability to manage high-stakes stakeholder relationships with frontier AI labs.
- Operational Excellence: Deep understanding of software integration (RESTful APIs, cloud infrastructure) and ability to troubleshoot complex bottlenecks in real-time.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in frontier R&D environments with shifting requirements.
