Job Summary
Senior Technical Professional Mechanical (6 months contract) responsible for technical quality of Data Sheets, Specifications, and Technical Requisitions for Rotating and Packaged Equipment. Duties include selection & application, data-sheet/specification preparation, technical evaluations and supplier document reviews, participation in inspection & testing, post-erection inspections, commissioning and field troubleshooting, and preparing estimates for new KBR proposals. Role involves guiding junior personnel, ensuring safety training and compliance, and coordinating with clients and internal teams across global sites. Requires a Mechanical Engineering graduate with 10-12 years’ experience in rotating/packaged equipment in hydrocarbon downstream industries; familiarity with API/ISO/NEMA/ASME/IEEE/IEC/PIP standards; willingness to travel.
Required Qualifications
- First-class Mechanical Engineering graduate
- 10-12 years of relevant professional experience in selection & application, detailed engineering of pumps, compressors, steam and gas turbines, packaged equipment in hydrocarbon downstream industries
- Experience with API, ISO, NEMA, ASME, IEEE, IEC, ALPEMA, PIP standards
- Experience in preparing Technical Requisitions, technical evaluation and supplier document reviews, inspection, testing, commissioning
- Experience estimating staffing and schedules for proposals; ability to communicate with clients
- Strong verbal and written communications; willingness to travel domestically or internationally
