Job Summary
Senior Technical Product Manager I – E-Commerce to own the technical product execution of Jeppesen ForeFlight's e-commerce platform, translating product strategy and global requirements into clear technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Serve as the primary interface for engineering, architecture, and QA teams in India; drive backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release readiness; ensure scalability, performance, security, and reliability; make trade-off decisions on technical complexity and timelines; identify risks and dependencies with mitigation plans; support integration with payment systems, order management, fulfillment, and third-party services; use data, logs, and operational metrics to inform product improvements; collaborate across time zones and maintain documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of experience in software-based product management
- Background in leading technical development; background in software engineering strongly preferred
- Experience delivering e-commerce platforms or large-scale transactional systems
- Experience translating high-level strategy into detailed, execution-ready requirements
- Excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a global team
- Demonstrated ability to work with a high level of autonomy with minimal oversight
- Ability to balance speed, quality, and technical rigor in a fast-moving environment
