Job Summary
Senior Technical Product Manager for a Data Product squad who will own the Data Product roadmap end-to-end, design and ship multi-source datasets to create unique customer value, lead the productisation of ML/AI capabilities into data, and drive data quality commitments. The role involves balancing coverage, precision, latency, and cost of ML-powered fields, conducting customer discovery with existing and prospective clients, coordinating with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to align the roadmap with commercial realities, and owning backlog and user stories as outcomes-driven outputs. Requirements emphasize 5+ years in product management roles related to data/API/platform products, strong discovery and prioritisation skills, technical fluency with data pipelines and schemas, experience shaping datasets, cross-functional collaboration, agility in ambiguous environments, and excellent English communication.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, or Senior Product Owner, ideally on a data, API, or platform product.
- Strong product thinking: discovery, customer research, prioritisation, owning outcomes - not just managing a backlog.
- Technical fluency: comfortable reasoning about data pipelines, schemas, transformations, and inferred fields well enough to make tradeoff decisions and have credible conversations with engineers.
- Experience designing or shaping datasets as a product — deciding what fields exist, what they mean, how they evolve.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders outside product (Sales, Customer Success, Marketing).
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity — this is a new role and the person needs to help shape it, not just inherit a defined role.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
