Job Summary
Conduct regular administration, perform system configurations, and execute monthly, quarterly, or hotfix patches across production environments. Manage server capacity, deploy performance and security enhancements, and implement disaster recovery solutions. Resolve complex, critical customer system issues while independently managing backups and conducting standard performance trend analyses. Guide junior engineers through problem-solving, participate in large-scale incident bridges, and build new processes to improve availability and supportability for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Deep technical knowledge
- Administration/analysis knowledge of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure
- Ability to perform administration and analysis for multiple production environments
- Ability to recommend new and novel solutions to improve availability, performance, and supportability
- Ability to guide junior engineers to solve complex problems
- Ability to take part in large-scale incident bridges
- Ability to build new processes and procedures
- Ability to perform regular administration
- Ability to conduct standard performance trend analyses
- Ability to manage server capacity

- Ability to perform backups independently
