Job Summary
Manage the Informatica ETL platform for production environments, handling on-prem and cloud administration, user permissions, and batch recoveries during infrastructure issues. Execute administrative tasks including migration, product upgrades, installation, and configuration while performing root cause analysis on software environment issues. Provide technical assistance for incoming queries, generate innovative solutions, and support after-hours on-call rotations for high-priority incidents. Apply analytical problem-solving skills to maintain operational day-to-day IT functions, with a focus on Informatica Cloud and AWS Glue integration.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering/ Information Technology or equivalent experience
- At least 10-15 years of experience in Informatica Platform Administration or ETL Production Support
- Experience with administrative, migration and product upgrades in Informatica on-prem and cloud space
- Experience with installation and configuration setup
- Experience in admin activities in Linux environment
- Aware of Data Governance services in Informatica Cloud and Infrastructure
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated track record of success in delivering Platform Projects
- Previous hands-on experience with industry Governance, design, data quality tools, and reporting tool sets
- Ability to support working outside of normal business hours to provide after hour or 'on-call' support when necessary to solve high priority incidents/problems
- Experience in Informatica Platform Administration activities
- Experience in Informatica Cloud
- Experience with administrative, migration and product upgrades in Informatica space
- Experience with installation and setup
- Experience in handling the ETL production batches
- Ability to take care of ETL batch recoveries in case any infrastructure issue
- Troubleshooting experience
- Ability to handle call with Informatica Product team
- Good Communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability towards changing organizational needs
- Our employees work in the office at least three (3) days per week, with flexibility to work from home two (2) days per week
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in AWS services specially AWS Glue
- Experience in bug fixing and development
- Knowledge or understanding of the following skills highly preferred: Previous hands-on experience with industry Governance, design, data quality tools, and reporting tool sets
- Hands-on knowledge of AWS services in Data Engineering space
