Job Summary
Manage distribution center data center operations and IT systems functions, ensuring technology service initiatives meet service level agreements. Monitor system alerts for timely resolution, lead preventative maintenance routines, and maintain environmental monitoring to ensure system health and uptime. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for change management and incident resolution while providing training for vendor technicians. Serve as the local point of contact for infrastructure projects, drive continuous improvement through Kanban initiatives, and adjust working hours for 24/7 on-call escalations. Support other sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong technical aptitude and skills, including network, server, telephone, and desktop experience
- Strong technical knowledge of operations, hardware and applications
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage vendor partners
- Strong reasoning, troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to adjust working hours and be on-call for escalations on a 24/7 basis
- Ability to support other sites as needed
