Senior Technical Consultant – Scale Specialist Lead (Intune/Windows – Tenant‐to‐Tenant)

Job Summary
Provide endpoint readiness guidance and risk assessments for tenant-to-tenant migration waves. Act as escalation authority for complex device migration failures, conducting root cause analysis and defining runbooks for common remediation scenarios. Coordinate dependencies with Identity and Security teams regarding device trust and access controls while supporting cutover events with rapid triage and stabilization leadership. Maintain known-issues catalogues to reduce recurring defects and provide validation criteria for post-migration acceptance. Align working patterns to regional cutovers within a follow-the-sun delivery model, ensuring structured handovers and flexible rota support during critical windows.
Required Qualifications
- Delivered tenant‐to‐tenant endpoint migration work in production (Intune/Windows specialism mandatory)
- Deep Intune operational expertise and troubleshooting competence
- Practical understanding of device join state and provisioning concepts relevant to tenant transitions
- Proven ability to create runbooks, validation steps and known‐fix playbooks for repeatable execution
- Willingness to align working hours to regional cutovers (early/late calls) and support extended hours when required
- Strong documentation discipline and evidence‐first practices
- Ability to coach engineers and improve delivery maturity at pace
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with workstation/profile migration tooling (e.g., PowerSyncPro or equivalent) and hands‐on understanding of real‐world constraints
- Microsoft certification alignment relevant to endpoint management (or equivalent experience)
- PowerShell scripting for diagnostics, readiness reporting and bulk remediation
- Experience with large, globally distributed device estates and remote workforce constraints
