Job Summary
Senior Technical Business Systems Analyst for IRC IT, focusing on end-to-end solutions within Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. Lead design and delivery of AI-powered solutions, identify high-value use cases for Copilot, agentic automation, and intelligent workflows to enhance financial, supply chain, and project management processes. Architect and implement integrations between D365 F&O and Azure AI services (including Azure OpenAI Service and AI Builder) to enable intelligent document processing, predictive analytics, and AI-assisted decision-making. Configure Copilot Studio and Power Automate to build autonomous agents and AI-driven workflows that reduce manual effort and surface real-time insights from D365 F&O data. Evaluate emerging AI technologies, translate findings into actionable recommendations, and support deployments (builds, releases, validation). Maintain customizations and extensions in D365 F&O, participate in testing and code reviews, and lead administration and continuous improvement of enterprise systems across departments while ensuring security and compliance. Acquire domain expertise in cross-functional business processes, manage vendor/partner relationships, coordinate with QA for testing, provide Level 3 support, and stay current on AI, agentic automation, and enterprise capabilities relevant to humanitarian operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Proficiency in X++ programming language
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and detailing cross-functional business, functional, and technical requirements
- Experience with enterprise system testing, including case development and execution
- Knowledge of D365 F&O architecture, data models
- Proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL for database operations
- Experience with SSRS, Power BI, or other reporting tools
- Proficiency in system administration, support, and change management in a global or multi-site environment
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- AI & Emerging Technology Skills (Required) including implementing and extending Copilot and AI agent capabilities within Dynamics 365 F&O, Azure AI services integration (Azure OpenAI Service, AI Builder), knowledge of LLM concepts and prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns, responsible AI principles
- Preferred: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations certification
- Preferred: Power Platform experience (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio)
- NGO or nonprofit sector experience in distributed or low-bandwidth environments
