Job Summary
Conduct root cause analysis of problems and translate business user needs into solution designs and systems specifications. Work with development teams to design technical solutions, produce detailed Business Requirement Specification Documents, and create analysis using SQL, Excel, and Power BI. Manage stakeholders from c-suite to developers internally and with clients, while supporting UAT by preparing test scenarios and validating solutions via Azure DevOps and Jira. Lead workshops through to design and delivery phases for digital or application modernisation projects.
Required Qualifications
- Business Analysis experience within a Consultancy or Public Sector environment
- Proven track record in producing high-quality Business Requirements Documents, Business Processes Mapping and documentation skills
- Agile Delivery experience and has working within an Agile delivery team
- Digital or Application Modernisation Project experience
- Experience in reviewing Functional Specification Documents produced by peers (Peer Review) to ensure they align with Business Requirements Specification documents
- Has worked on both large-scale and smaller projects and has been responsible for defining and designing business solutions
- Discovery, technical, and data capability with strong SQL Background
- Confident, articulate, and proactive consultants
- Good project management skills with the ability to plan and schedule own work and work towards tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills — be able to explain complicated processes and concepts to non-experts
Desired Qualifications
- Produce analysis, data mapping and data analytical skills using SQL, Excel and Power BI
- Stakeholder management across all levels from c-suite through to on-the-ground developers both internally and with the clients
- Support UAT by preparing test scenarios, coordinating with stakeholders, and validating solutions using tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, and test management tools
- End-to-end project involvement from leading workshops through to design and delivery phases
- Produce detailed Business Requirement Specification Documents
