Senior Technical Assistance Specialist

$65,000–$75,000 year

Job Summary

Provide client-centered technical support and training to optimize service integration across a network of community-based organizations and healthcare providers. Conduct regular check-ins with partners to establish in-depth understanding of their programs, manage the Learning Management System, and track onboarding, contracting, and set-up processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify coverage gaps, develop targeted training interventions, and deploy resources to enhance screening, navigation, and case management capabilities. Support local CBOs in building capacity while maintaining compliance with network standards and contributing to routine performance reports. Assist in training new Technical Assistance specialists and recommend system workflow enhancements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Valid NYS driver's license
  • ability to travel locally in Long Island as needed for in-person meetings

  • Able to work collaboratively across an interdisciplinary team, managing multiple priorities

Desired Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of project management, capacity building, training delivery, technical assistance, or quality improvement experience
  • Experience working with Unite Us platform or similar referral and care management tools
  • Prior experience in issues related to healthcare; social services; health equity, access and quality; population health (or some subset/combination of these)
  • Experience building partnerships with community-based organizations and/or healthcare provider organizations
  • familiarity with Long Island social care ecosystem
  • Bilingual
