Job Summary
Lead the technical execution of complicated institutional projects by translating interior and exterior design concepts into construction documents. Manage the development and QA/QC of contract documentation, including drawings and specifications, while ensuring compliance with building codes and agency requirements. Coordinate building systems with consultants and work collaboratively with contractors on trades. Develop project specifications and apply creative problem-solving to address technical detailing challenges. Mentor team members in technical execution and prioritize organizational tasks within a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Architecture
- Proficiency in Revit/BIM production
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years' experience within the design and construction industry
- Prior Higher Education, Science & Technology and institutional project experience
- Professional license within the State of California
- LEED certification
