Job Summary
Senior Technical Application Consultant to support SimCorp’s Configuration Deployment Service (CDS) across global time zones. Responsibilities include supporting deployment configurations, planning deployment windows with clients, creating configuration packages based on client definitions, documenting and reporting per service procedures, collaborating with service owners and client stakeholders, advising on process improvements from daily operations, and participating in the CDS network. Requires experience configuring and deploying components of complex standard software in the financial sector, Windows Server basics, ITIL familiarity, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English. Hybrid work model with 2 days per week in the Milan office; opportunities for international collaboration and professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Master in Computer Science, Natural Science, Economics or similar qualification
- Experience configuring and deploying components of complex standard software applications in the financial sector or financial services industry
- Technical affinity; eagerness to engage and learn new technical content
- Experience in Windows Server environment; exposure to cloud technology
- Interest in investment industry processes and expansion into them
- Service-minded with ability to work in an ITIL framework
- Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset; ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
