Job Summary
Senior Technical Analyst to shape data architecture using dbt and SQL in Google BigQuery, own end-to-end BI capabilities with dashboards, harmonize data across the Shopify ecosystem, GA, ads, ERP, and internal systems, and deliver leadership-ready reports. Candidates should bring strong SQL and data modeling skills, experience with dbt and BigQuery, e-commerce metrics knowledge, proactive mindset, stakeholder-management abilities, and English proficiency (German a plus).
Required Qualifications
- Data Modeling Expertise with SQL and dimensional modeling (star schemas, fact/dimension design)
- Production experience with dbt or similar transformation tools
- Strong understanding of the Modern Data Stack on Google BigQuery
- E-commerce metrics knowledge (AOV, LTV, CAC, retention, cohort logic)
- Proactive, curious mindset; ability to question definitions and optimize data processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks
- Professional proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus
