Job Summary

Analyze business and technical requirements to translate them into clear specifications for data solution design and implementation. Support data engineers, developers, and architects by contributing technical analysis to user stories and delivery priorities. Design, build, monitor, and support data pipelines, integrations, and batch processing solutions that improve enterprise data reliability. Troubleshoot complex data issues, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions to ensure stable production systems. Collaborate with product teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve architectural concerns and improve data solution outcomes while providing informal technical leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or business
  • Minimum six years of experience in technology enablement (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Demonstrated expertise in data engineering, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes and data integration concepts
  • Hands-on experience with AWS data and analytics services such as Glue, Redshift, Lambda, S3, Step Functions and QuickSight
  • Experience troubleshooting, monitoring and supporting production data pipelines and cloud-based solutions
  • Proven ability to identify root causes, resolve complex technical issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desired Qualifications

  • AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Data Engineer, AWS Certified Developer, or equivalent
  • Experience designing and implementing cloud-native data architectures and modern analytics solutions
  • Knowledge of DataOps, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code and automation frameworks
  • Experience building reporting and visualization solutions using QuickSight, Power BI or similar technologies
  • Knowledge of AI, machine learning, predictive analytics or intelligent automation solutions
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale data platforms serving multiple business units and stakeholders
  • Experience developing standards, governance processes and technical best practices for data teams
  • Bilingualism (English and French)
