Job Summary
Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, MD&A materials, and Board reports while researching technical accounting matters for complex transactions like M&A. Develop accounting position papers, maintain internal control environments, and support statutory audits for external stakeholders. Perform corporate contract reviews, manage period-end close procedures, and analyze revenue data for the Order-to-Cash function. Collaborate cross-functionally to implement efficiency improvements and ensure compliance with IFRS and continuous disclosure obligations.

- Relevant financial reporting and audit experience at a public accounting firm
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with IFRS
- Experience with complex accounting and preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS, including full note disclosures
- Completion of CPA professional designation, or completion of professional exams and nearing completion of practical experience requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business and finance/accounting
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in software or technology sector is a strong asset
- Experience with financial reporting for global companies is a strong asset
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite and NetSuite ERP system is a strong asset
