Job Summary
Manage purchase requisitions, create purchase orders, and monitor deliveries to ensure timely project execution while maintaining ERP data. Lead and develop the Operational Purchasing Team across Europe by prioritizing daily activities, conducting performance reviews, and onboarding new members. Partner with project teams to align requirements, ensure material availability, and resolve supply issues proactively. Build strong supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and contracts, and drive cost reduction initiatives. Continuously improve procurement processes, KPIs, and reporting to ensure compliance with company policies and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent qualification)
- Several years of experience in operational procurement
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- Experience in project-based environments (preferably automation or manufacturing industry)
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP)
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Fluent in English
