Job Summary
Senior Team Leader, Hair Care Innovation role based at Ashland's Zwijndrecht (NL) site, leading a 5-person research team within the Hair Care R&D function to deliver innovative products and to execute the Hair Care R&D strategy, collaborating with global marketing, central R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Regulatory to drive development-to-commercialization and build regional talent pipelines.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, physics, or related scientific/technical discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience including technology development and implementation; leading and developing teams and driving innovation in a heavily regulated industry; preferably in EPA and/or REACH governed end-markets
- Strong Hair Care background with experience in ingredients and formulation spaces
- Demonstrated scientific excellence through publications/patents in personal care
- In-depth understanding of hair care chemistry and the action of ingredients across hair care fields
- Experience operating in a global technical and business environment; global collaboration across functions
