Job Summary
Senior Consultant – SAP MDG responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Master Data Governance solutions to ensure high-quality, consistent, and compliant master data across the enterprise. Lead end-to-end MDG implementations for domains such as Business Partner (Customer/Vendor), Material Master, and Finance (Cost Center, Profit Center, GL). Design MDG data models, change request types, workflows, and governance processes; configure MDG frameworks including data replication, validations, derivations, and BRF+ rules; integrate MDG with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and non-SAP systems. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather governance requirements, advise on data governance best practices, operate as SME for MDG discussions, lead MDG workstreams within large SAP programs, and provide mentoring to junior consultants and offshore teams. Review configurations, functional specs, and test scenarios; support cutover, go-live, and hypercare; diagnose and resolve MDG-related issues across workflow, data quality, and integration; propose enhancements to improve data quality, governance efficiency, and compliance; support audits and regulatory compliance initiatives related to master data. 8+ years of SAP experience with 4+ years in SAP MDG implementations. Key skills include MDG data modeling and configuration, Change Request Management, BRF+ rules, data replication frameworks, SAP S/4HANA familiarity, data quality, data migration, and cross-functional domain knowledge in Finance, Supply Chain, or Sales.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years of SAP experience with 4+ years in SAP MDG implementations
