Job Summary
Lead enterprise-level full-stack development using Node.js and React for a global luxury hotel chain's modern product ecosystem. Drive technical leadership and overall direction for the six-person delivery team, including designing APIs, building web applications, and solving complex technical challenges. Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate technical concepts clearly while leveraging AWS cloud platforms to support continuous scaling. This full-time hybrid role involves three days in the Toronto office, with interviews including a recruiter call, technical assessment, and cultural fit session.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
- Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience building web applications and APIs (Node.js + React)
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS, but others are acceptable)
- Strong problem-solving and research skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong desire to provide technical leadership and overall direction for the delivery team
- Hybrid work format (3 days in the office in Toronto, the rest remote)
