Job Summary
Manage a team of three tax strategy professionals while personally leading up to 12 client strategy meetings weekly to deliver holistic tax, estate, and succession planning. Execute and scale the strategy program by partnering with leadership to build consistent SOPs, develop growth paths for direct reports, and maintain a curated library of vetted referral partners. Leverage the company's AI-powered stack, including TaxPlanIQ and Maverick, to integrate advanced tools into research and communication workflows. Collaborate closely with the compliance team to ensure flawless return execution. This player-coach role empowers you to lead the Strategy function in a fast-paced, remote startup environment focused on re-engineering financial automation for small business owners.
Required Qualifications
- Active CPA license
- 5+ years of progressive tax strategy experience in public accounting or a high-growth advisory environment
- Proven experience designing and implementing complex tax and wealth strategies for business owners
- Prior people-management experience
- Track record of executing and scaling a process or system
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer-facing skills
- AI-excited: highly tech-forward, eager to adopt and champion AI tools
- Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling remote startup environment
