Senior Tax Specialist (all genders)

Job Summary
Prepare tax movement schedules, quarterly and yearly corporate income tax calculations, and tax cash flow reconciliations. Perform flux analysis on balance sheet and PnL tax movements, discuss topics with local tax teams during closings, and contribute to financial statement audits by communicating with auditors. Reconcile Deferred Taxes, prepare CbCR and Pillar II reports including Exposure Checks and Top-Up tax scenarios, and support all SOX controls. Prepare VAT and Sales Lists while identifying problems and initiating improvements. Conduct research on international tax risks and assist in tax audits by calculating potential risks. Perform daily tax accounting and compliance tasks in a permanent full-time role in Hamburg or Göttingen, Germany.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Taxation, Law, Economics, Business Administration, Finance or a related field
- Strong knowledge and experience in International Law and IFRS accounting policies
- Familiar with regulated environments and its required reliable documentation
- Hands-on mentality and pragmatic approaches ensuring compliant results and solutions
- Self-driven with a highly motivated and positive personality
- Interest in building good relationships with peers and other stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting interests
- Presentation and communication skills
- Proficiency in oral and written English
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint as well as in Microsoft 365
