Senior Tax Manager - State Income Tax

Job Summary
The Senior Tax Manager – State Income Tax will manage U.S. state and local income/franchise tax compliance, ASC 740 reporting, and audits while providing technical guidance to internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include managing and reviewing outsourced tax return preparation, supporting compliance activities, facilitating extensions and estimated payments, leading tax audits, conducting technical research, and ensuring SOX compliance. Candidates should have at least a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, with strong technical knowledge of ASC 740 and excellent analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or related field
- 10+ years of state and local income/franchise tax experience
- Strong technical knowledge of ASC 740 and multistate tax concepts
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- CPA
- MBA
- Master’s in Taxation
- Experience with OneSource, CCH, Checkpoint, and SAP
