Job Summary
Lead complex tax engagements for real estate clients across multiple markets, performing technical reviews of returns and analyzing operating agreements, LOIs, and purchase agreements. Identify client issues and propose strategic tax solutions while overseeing engagement economics, billing, and collections. Build and sustain relationships with leading real estate companies, collaborate on cross-functional opportunities, and grow a professional network with industry partners. Recruit, mentor, and develop team members to build a strong leadership pipeline. Full-time position available now in Greenville, SC for a CPA with 7+ years of public accounting experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of recent public accounting experience managing real estate tax engagements
- Demonstrated experience developing staff and managing workflow and deadlines
- Deep expertise in real estate taxation, including partnerships and multi-entity structures
- CPA certification
- Strong leadership, project management, and client relationship skills
- Excellent communication and networking abilities
- Proficiency with tax technology and software tools
