Job Summary
Senior Tax Manager to lead and develop the ARQ Tax team, oversee the preparation and review of personal and corporate tax returns, provide expert advice on tax planning strategies and regulatory changes, design and deliver training to enhance technical capabilities, develop tax policies and internal controls, and collaborate with internal departments and external advisors while representing clients with tax authorities and auditors. Requires university degree in accounting (with advanced taxation specialisation as an asset), strong leadership and client-management skills, and extensive experience in direct and indirect tax work. Fluency in English and Maltese; Malta-based corporate taxation focus with a role in shaping the Group’s tax function and governance.
Required Qualifications
- A University degree in Accounting, or equivalent professional qualification
- Further specialisation in taxation (e.g., Master’s in Tax, ADIT, MIT) is considered an asset
- Experience as a warranted accountant, specialising in taxation
- Proven track record in client relationship management
- Strong experience in direct and indirect tax work
