Senior Tax & Compliance Officer

Prepare, review, and submit all corporate tax returns (IRPC, IRPS, IVA, withholding taxes) to the Autoridade Tributária de Mocambique with proper fiscal documentation. Manage tax planning strategies to optimize the company's position while ensuring full legal compliance with Mozambican legislation, INSS, and labour law obligations. Liaise with tax authorities during audits and inspections, oversee transfer pricing documentation, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes. Develop internal compliance policies, conduct periodic risk assessments, and prepare management reports on tax liabilities for the Chief Accountant. Support finance team activities during month-end reporting, year-end audits, and external auditor liaisons. Advise on tax implications for new business activities and investments. Ensure proper filing of all compliance documentation and upload to Group SharePoint. Perform other duties as instructed by management within the SGS management system.
